FastIsostasy v1.0 – An accelerated, regional 2D GIA model accounting for the lateral variability of the solid Earth

Published in Geoscientific model development, 2023

This paper describes the development of FastIsostasy, a model of glacial isostatic adjustment tailored to the needs of ice-sheet modellers who want a better representation of the deformational and gravitational response of the laterally-variable solid Earth to changes in surface load.

Time-scale synchronisation of oscillatory responses can lead to non-monotonous R-tipping

Published in Scientific reports, 2023

This paper showcases examples of nonlinear oscillators where the synchronisation of different oscillatory responses can lead to non-monotonic rate-induced tipping.
